A website to be proud of!

How we enjoyed working with CNX Pharmaceuticals on their website redesign

The brief

CNX’s website needed some updating. It was more of a brochure than a business tool and, as their company was growing, they wanted their website to reflect this growth and ambition. It still needed to have the rigour of any other pharmaceutical site, but with more personality.

Bringing in a new bold, fresh design and friendly tone of voice seemed like a smart way to achieve this.

What we did

1. Set goals together

Any good project needs a strategy discussion and stakeholder buy in. We started by getting all stakeholders together in the same room to discuss the key priorities and goals for the business – and the website.

Our copy and design teams always kick off this process by leading guided discussions to help them draw out all the nuanced information they need.

Once the goals were agreed, our project manager put together a detailed project plan and timeline and made sure both the creative teams and the client stakeholders knew when they needed to create and review content for sign-off along the way.

2. Developed a look & feel

We know that getting the design and the tone of voice right really matters.

So, after doing some competitor research, and taking on board ideas from all the different stakeholders involved, our design team created several concepts to fine tune and iterate until we landed on the final one.

Meanwhile, our copywriters set to work interviewing all the subject matter experts, not only drawing out all the important information but also communicating it in a tone of voice that felt right.

3. Built & launched the new site

Once we had agreed on the design and the content, of course we also had to consider the user journeys and functionality of the site.

A lot goes into designing and building a website. You need to ask the right questions. What happens to this page if we add more products? How flexible does this page need to be for when we double in headcount? How has the form on this page performed before?

Our design and development teams worked closely together to make sure every box was ticked on time and on budget.

The outcome

The site launched on schedule, in time for the big unveiling at our client’s company-wide away day. The response has been brilliant!

They all loved it.

Now our client is looking ahead to how we can help them with future blog ideas, reports and wider comms strategies.

And we can’t wait to help them.

We recently worked with SBC to re-design our company website, and we are thrilled with the final site! During the initial brainstorming workshop they really listened to us and had great suggestions, and they then seamlessly managed the content-writing and design for each page. Communication was very good and fast, and the whole team were friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a very positive experience!
